The lodge was perfectly set up for bike touring, with lockable storage space and brilliant hearty food served by attentive and friendly staff. The room was big, loads of space to sort our gear and to relax. Just off the cycle trail, so really well-situated

We booked the Afan Lodge, to attend a family event. Paid a little more for a mountain view, which was beautiful. Although I grew up in the area, I failed to appreciate its stunning views. Staff were really friendly, and nothing was to much trouble. I believe the Lodge is used a lot by mountain bikes, and can see why, you can just ride straight out of the hotel onto a trail. Breakfast was fantastic and they catered for my partner, as she is a coeliac. Also we enjoyed the quiz night, they also run other events.

Fab little lodges with cosy beds, plenty of hiking trails near by and great little social club next door with super friendly locals. The manager was absolutely lovely, nothing was too much trouble.

Beautiful, calm and safe brook/spring intront of the lodges to dip feet in.Also log fire to sit around and BBQ facilities were great. Weather was lovely during our stay. We did a lovely walk to a reservoir...all the kids and adults enjoyed the stay very much. It was very much value for money.Thank you.
