Had all the facilities needed. Lovely hot water for showers and rooms well heated for the cold December days and nights.
The host Laura was fantastic throughout our stay.

Wonderful view of the river and we really enjoyed the ducks and Pete the Peacock. We had a great chat with Barry at the beginning and the end of our stay. Very nice home base after a long day of seeing the sights.
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Staff were very accommodating letting us know about the unique history of the buildings. Hotel had been refurbished to an extremely high standard throughout. We had a Junior Suite which was very comfortable and benefited from air conditioning as it was a very hot weekend.
The food was very good and lovely to sit out overlooking the golf course. Breakfast also excellent. Will definitely return for a longer visit maybe in one of the lodges.
We stayed in one of the lodges which was very private, modern, and comfortable. It had a spacious bedroom with a comfortable bed, sitting area inside and outside. We didn't get a chance to check out any of the other facilities but I would love to come back to have a spa treatment and for my husband to have a round of golf. It is in a remote rural location which was perfect for us exploring the local area and attending a wedding nearby.
Visited for golf as part of a society. Beautiful golf course and outstanding facilities in a lovely part of Oxfordshire. If you are a golfer, despite heavy overnight rain the course held up really well with no flooding on the greens at all. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Food choice and quality excellent. The lodges are very new, modern in style, comfortable. Good parking too. No complaints at all. I think the whole group will be returning again soon.
