CanadaWonderful view of the river and we really enjoyed the ducks and Pete the Peacock. We had a great chat with Barry at the beginning and the end of our stay. Very nice home base after a long day of seeing the sights.

Hotel had been refurbished to an extremely high standard throughout. We had a Junior Suite which was very comfortable and benefited from air conditioning as it was a very hot weekend. The food was very good and lovely to sit out overlooking the golf course. Breakfast also excellent. It had a spacious bedroom with a comfortable bed, sitting area inside and outside. We didn't get a chance to check out any of the other facilities but I would love to come back to have a spa treatment and for my husband to have a round of golf. If you are a golfer, despite heavy overnight rain the course held up really well with no flooding on the greens at all. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Food choice and quality excellent.
