An oasis of peace, completely secluded from the outside world, in a forest with rice terraces, run by Dewi and her fantastic team. The open kitchen was an absolute dream. Both breakfast and dinner featured freshly prepared Balinese dishes that were so delicious. Even dessert was always something special. Kudos to the cook. By scooter, you could quickly reach the temple above or the nearby residential area with shops and restaurants. The impressive rice terraces of Jatuliwah can be reached in about 20 minutes. I can recommend it 100%.

Amazing location, beautiful nature! A little gem, not so far from Ubud/Canggu. Such a perfect place for relaxation and a little detox from the world. The staff is very friendly as well.

Amazing. Yuni so is very kind 🧡, the level of service is incredible, the views spectacular and the food really good. A massieve garden, so peaceful and planted so beautifully. A stay to really calm down. We were in awe our whole stay. 1 year of travel in Asia. This was probably the best stay.

I stayed at this beautiful hidden gem tucked away in the middle of rice fields, within walking distance from Jatiluwih. Although finding the place was a bit tricky at first, the peaceful days that followed made it all worth it — I even ended up extending my stay.
The bungalows open up to a breathtaking panoramic view of the rice paddies, with nothing but the soothing sounds of nature surrounding you. Every evening, I could choose a meal from a nearby restaurant’s menu, and the kind hosts delivered it right to my door — such a thoughtful touch.
Mornings started with a tasty breakfast of a fresh omelette, toast, and tropical fruit, served with a smile. There’s also a small, super clean pool — perfect for a quick dip during the day. The bed was comfortable and spotless, and every single night, I watched fireflies dancing around my bungalow! Pure magic.
If you're looking for friendly hosts, peace, nature, and a place to truly slow down, this is it. Thank you again for such a beautiful stay!

The view is just breath taking. It’s very quiet. The owner Padi is very caring and putting a lot of attention in his place. You have access to a beautiful private waterfall for your morning swim. Food is delicious.. what to say more ? Thank you 🫶🏼 wish for more of theses places in the world.

It's located in a beautiful area and close to major attractions. The cabin looks great and the privacy screening is well considered. Breakfast was delicious.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
We loved our stay at Saridevi Ecolodge.
Such a beautiful and peaceful place.
Plus Santi's cooking made it even better!
The dogs are friendly. Especially Mars who came to do yoga with us every morning .
Will definitely come back.
Putu and his wife Nengha were such amazing hosts. Putu gave us a tour of his expansive family farm while Nengha cooked up amazing meals. The views are spectacular! Only a short scooter trip from the Jatiluwih rice fields. Would recommend to anybody looking for a laid back, comfortable lodging in the countryside.
Tepi Sawah Lodge & Retreat is the ideal place to disconnect and recharge your batteries amid the jungle and rice paddies. The whole team is extremely friendly and helpful. I did the cooking class and a jungle walk including meditation with Putu (an amazing local guide), which is a memory that will stay with me for a long time. Thanks again for everything !
This was an amazing place with wonderful people! The lodge is beautiful, in the middle of a ricefield in a very quiet place. It’s perfect for person who wants to connect with local people and have a peaceful rest. The staff was so nice and everything was so easy. I had very good food and the 1 day trip with Putu was an amazing moment! I 100% recommend this place and hope I’ll be back one day :)
It's in the middle of nowhere surrounded by nature. The view from our room was amazing. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious.
I recommend to go to the lodge with a bike because it's not mich around there.
We absolutely loved staying at Tepi Sawah Lodge! Unfortunately, we only booked one night. We would have loved to stay longer at this calm and authentic place.
Dewi is such a lovely person and made us feel at home from the first minute. The food was delicious abd we loved that she uses only regional products!
We absolutely recommend staying at Tepi Sawah Lodge if you are looking for a more authentic and „in-to-the-woods“ experience:)
Everything was perfect !!
The location is beautiful, between plantations and rice fields with nice view from the rooms.
The village is accessible by foot, and you can also walk directly in the rice fields from the lodge. It is a really quiet place, in the middle of nature.
There are some gardens that produce vegetables and herbs that are used daily for cooking, and the food is amazing !
It is a family business, and everyone was helpful and super nice !
We recommend 200% staying with Mende and Santi :)
The owner, Dewi, is an amazing woman. So kind, friendly and a wonderful chef. The lodges are basic but everything you need in a place so pure like this place. The property is in the middle of rice terraces and near the jungle. It is so peaceful and beautiful! Would love to come back!
Please don't look for another place to stay! The lodges are in a beautiful natural place, near the scenic but not crowded Subak Piak Ricefields, and also near Batukaru temple (you can go to both by foot). The breakfast and dinner were delicious (thanks for the lak lak and dadar!). Dewi and her husband are adorable, they will take care of you (but without being intrusive), and they can organise activities like Trek, cooking class... Thank you so much!
