This is a quiet gem on the eastern shore. The location is magnificent. There are lovely breezes all day long. The views are all around from lush mountains to the glorious ocean, especially from the tables on the cliffs edge. There are only 5 bungalows so it feels intimate and soothingly restful.
You couldn’t ask for a better spot for the restaurant. The jazz music was a perfect relaxing accompaniment to the meals. There are very good breakfast choices with fresh squeezed orange juice. I enjoyed the scrambled eggs on fresh, hand-baked (?) brown bread and the banana pancakes. The green curry dish and the grilled chicken dish were both delicious for lunches. The room and bathroom was spacious with a nice deck to sit out and watch the scenery by day and the stars by night. Good WiFi throughout the property.
Getting there is tricky but I took the recommendation of the hotel and the driver expertly handled winding steep narrow potholed roads. It did cost 400,000R both ways to get there but so worth it. This is a great place to get far away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of Penida and Bali.

The view from the upstairs rooms is lovely. You see the birds in the rice fields and all the green is so refreshing. The bed was very comfortable and everything was so clean. It’s great that they have a spa on site and a restaurant with tasty food.

Stunning location overlooking rice fields.
This is why we chose this homestay.
The bungalow is secluded and surrounded with trees you feel.like you are in the middle of the jungle, I loved listening to all the jungle sounds, birds, insects, foliage.
Comfy beds , good airco and a large bathtub with the same great view.
Be aware that you really need a scooter to get around as the property is located high up on ridge on top of a steep road with hairpin bends.
As we didn't rent one and like hiking , we walked to the Sidemen ricefields and took a Grab car back (seems there are a few now in Sidemen).
No restaurants close by but the owner, Kadek, offered to get food from a nearby restaurant.

Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Sidemen. Very beautiful, quiet place, with a nice owner. If you stay here make sure to also stay for dinner, because they are great cooks as well. Very clean room, and there were motorbikes available to explore Sidemen with. If we are ever in Sidemen again we are definitly staying here again.

The staff are wonderful and all the finishing touches are well thought out. A great experience for kids and the young at heart. Breakfast was exceptional!
