Boasting sweeping views of the ocean and free WiFi access, Rajah Ampat Dove Lodge is located in Mansuar Island in the heart of Northern Rajah Ampat dove sites.

Honest point of view: The food is repetitive with little local seafood. The bungalows are Ok, but not luxury by any standard. The excursions are terribly overpriced. But…this is normal for Raja Ampat. If you expect luxury accommodation, you will not find it in Raja Ampat. If you come to Raja Ampat, you come for the DIVING only. For accommodations, you must lower your standards and expect to pay a high price. Having been to other Raja hotels and homestays, this one is overall pretty good as compared with other. Service was also excellent, very flexible and good english spoken. Diving, if you dont mind the high price, it was very well organised in small groups, flexibility to chose the dive site, nice boat.

Offering sea views, Methos Homestay - Raja Ampat in Yennanas Besir has accommodations, a garden, a private beach area, a terrace and barbecue facilities.

Absolutely stunning location. We stayed on Gam at Methos for a few nights and and the remainder of our stay on Kri and we really wished we had stayed at Methos longer. What I liked the most was the coral reef in front of the bungalow as it was absolutely stunning. You can see so much wildlife right from the deck. I saw baby sharks, stingrays, cuttlefish, etc directly in front which is wonderful for snorkelers. The room itself was very comfortable, with shelves to unpack your things and a large four-poster kingsize bed. The bathrooms are around 100 meters from the rooms and were clean enough. Alternatively....there is the ocean. They give you water tanks for fresh water to drink from and use for washing your hands in your rooms as well as large thermoses each day containing boiled, hot water for coffee/tea. We went on three tours with Methos as well - Gam, Manusuar, and the bird watching tour. The tours were all well-planned and well-organized. I went on many tours from Kri, but the day I went with Methos to Manusuar, I saw way more. About 15 minutes from Methos, we jumped off the boat and saw about 15 Mantas swimming together at the surface. The guide from the guidehouse brought banana peels and when we went to Yenbuba jetty, we were surrounded by tons of tropical fish which was really amazing. We saw around 5-6 turtles. The jellyfish lake was also really closeby and it was so cool to swim with jellyfish that weren't constantly attacking you (which wasn't the case for Kri..). The bird watching tour didn't end up resulting in seeing too much, but that's just a matter of luck, not the fault of the tour. As for the room, they gave us a container to keep food in so we didn't have any issues with pests. The homestay is also close to three villages that sell snacks and drinks which wasn't the case for Kri island. It's nice to be able to go for a walk and stretch your legs and the locals were all friendly towards us.

With sea views, TABARI DIVE LODGE is located in Pulau Mansuar and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, terrace and grill. Free WiFi is provided.

The property is located on a beautiful secluded island, but otherwise, the property itself is very poorly maintained. The living conditions were unacceptable. The only other positive aspect is the staff - Yollanda and her staff were as helpful as they can be despite everything.
