Amazing place, the location is superb in the centre of the picturesque village Bukit Lawang and next to the river! The staff is absolutely amazing, and the food wow..
Furthermore we did the 3 days/2night jungle trek with Andy and Jerry, which was absolutely incredible. The tour was full of insights on the local flora and fauna, accompanied by well organised base camps and great food. We can do nothing but recommend this place! Looking forward to being back, Lara and Stijn!

What a charming place! We really felt at one with the jungle as the bungalows are just on the edge of the national park where the hikes to see the orangutans are. Watching dusky leaf monkeys playing in the trees just feet away from our porch was a highlight. A brilliant spot to relax and be at one with nature, with friendly and welcoming staff.

Had an amazing time at lovely jungle lodge, Balu and his son Rifan will really look after you. The location of the lodge was great, away from the busy village and surrounded by the peaceful jungle. The best is falling asleep to the jungle sounds and being able to watch wild monkeys from the wooden huts. There's no electricity so make sure to charge all your devices beforehand. Highly recommend.

We loved the whole property and the staff were really lovely. We did a 2 day 1 night jungle trek with Garden inn. Our guides were unbelievable. Adi and Jerry!!! They were absolutely amazing. I have problems with my legs and Jerry was with me every step of the way. He helped me so much and I felt safe even on the hardest parts. Thank you adi and Jerry!! And to our jungle chef (Ivan I think) We ate like kings at our camp. So much amazing food!! Thank you so much!

the staffs are great. they are very helpful. the location is great if you like nature. there is no aircon in the room, but we sleep comfortably. don't forget the insect repellant. it's nature after all. you can't avoid insects especially moquitoes.

We were treated like family at on the rocks, wawan and his team were so helpful and friendly that we instantly felt at home. I cannot recommend staying here enough. We did multiple treks with Wong and he was wonderful, so much information to share but also never even felt like he was a guide. Treks can be suited for your fitness level but you are almost guaranteed to see orangutans no matter where you go. The restaurant was also delicious.

Great place to trek from.Room was great, mosquito netting in great shape, quiet. Gil can set up trek of desired length, shared taxi back to airport as well. Food and serve staff good.
Only minus was room rate almost doubled from before trek to after. I requested rate before I used the room after, but got a "wait". Better communication on rate needed, as changes happen, but tell the customer.
