The view was outstanding, a bit of a walk uphill to get here but if you’re fit it’s ok. Worth it for the rage eye view of all the food but trees and the ocean. If you’re feeling up to it you can easily walk to the sacred waterfall area or down to the beach. The bed was very comfortable and the hosts made sure I had everything I need and more, going out of their way to book me in at the famous Dapur Bali Mula restaurant. I had a lovely breakfast and dinner made for me every day and lovely chats with the hosts who are very kind and warm people. The shower and bathroom were very nice and I liked looking up to the huge shiva statue that stands above the semi open shower. Very luxurious and comfortable and clean. There was also a couple of very friendly cats who were keen to spend a lot of time with me as well. Lovely aircon in the room.

Met the most friendly people over there treating you like family. Owner Ady along with all staff and friends around tried their best to make your stay comfortable and help with the arrangements of Batur sunrise hiking, driving me to the hot spring. Thank you everyone for everything.

Extremely noisy. Access road terrible. No in room facilities at all. Smelly bathroom and permanently wet. No hot water.
Left at daylight after sleepless night. My husband had to get up at 1 in the morning to ask neighbouring guests to be quiet. Extremely overpriced for a bed.
No atmosphere or attention to detail.

The staff was very accommodating. He helped us organize a trip for a nice price. Even transport around the area. They got us a great guide named Wi while climbing Batur. It's a pity that the selection of drinks and food was not complete. A third of the menu was currently unavailable. But all this was balanced by the friendliness of the people in this accommodation. Overall, the price/performance ratio was excellent.

Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The staff were very helpful, and accommodating. The lodge was clean and well situated. I would recommend it to anybody. Very nice
