Small site run by a family. They were very warm & welcoming. We visited out of season during Ramadan. And as very few restaurants were open, the family invited us to share a meal with them, which was very thoughtful.

Beautiful views and very comfortable room! Was very tidy and clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful in organising tours and other activities for us! The food was also so delicious. We stayed during a thunder storm with lots of rain which was super cozy and comfortable because of our accomodation! Will definitely stay again if we find ourselves in Tetebatu a second time!
Thank you nea cottage was a great stay!

The staff were super friendly and nice with us. They helped us with all we needed, they explained a lot of things about the region, they offered us a beautiful tour through the rice fields, some waterfalls and the monkey forest. We spent a very good time with them!

Positives:
The experience of living in nature, surrounded by rice fields, is truly unique.
The staff are receptive to feedback and take action for any request.
Fikri stood out as an exceptional team member—always available to help, providing a fantastic walking tour, and consistently going above and beyond. The smoothie bowl option was also a refreshing touch!
Points for Improvement:
Upon arrival, a warmer welcome would be appreciated. Consider greeting guests with something like traditional sorongs to enhance the feeling of special hospitality.
On one occasion, I experienced multiple electric shocks from the water in the shower, which could have been dangerous. This issue needs to be addressed immediately for safety reason for the future.
At times, the food wasn't properly cooked or served cold, which could be improved.
Overall: The property has great potential, but a 9.5 rating seems overly optimistic at this stage. If the owner, Barry, listens to feedback and makes the necessary improvements, this place could truly flourish.

It was a good place. The bangalow it was very simple but very effective. With Miskam I could do lot of things. I saw a school, a farm of avocado, vanilla, coffee and flowers and strawberries fields. I stayed only one night but I was with locals all the time. Thank you Miskam for this experience. See you soon I hope 😍
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The family who owns the lodge is wonderful, incredibly welcoming and helpful. The view from the rooms is gorgeous overlooking a little valley of rice fields, and the food was great too! It was a really great experience. I would definitely stay again!
Amazing stay at Vanilla Garden. We spend just one night but wish could stay longer. Matt and Youssuf are wonderful people and host. We spend the day with Matt who showed us around Tetebatu and local activities.
Clean room, lodge in the middle of the rice field, nice breakfast with lot of choice.
Also, tried the gado-gado at the restaurant it's the best one
Thank you so much
A really quite and peacefull place inside the forest! The lodges are made of bamboo what we liked alot. We asked Ronie who works there for renting a motorbike and he accompanied us to the waterfall, showed us the black monkeys closed to the lodge and help us to book a taxi for the last day. We loved it and would defenetly come back again.
