United StatesKen and Sei were amazing hosts. Extremely warm atmosphere nestled amongst the trees and mountains of Nikko. I enjoyed hiking in the morning by the river and caught the bus to the Kegon waterfalls. The shogun temple was beautiful.

Ken & Sei were extremely welcoming & treated me like a family member the moment I arrived. The huge lounge area was the perfect place to meet other travelers & share ur stories..I loved how accessible it was to the UNESCO park, The fishing pond, and Kirifuri Falls. Rooms were new, comfortable and much bigger than average Japan. We read reviews and knew that there was no food service. The lodge is nestled between the forest and 3 mins from the lodge I discovered a nice short trek to the river. They have many rooms.
