Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The house was good, better than the apartment we rented in Nairobi. There were more modern amenities. The living room worked out great for our family. The shower - hot water - was good. The host, Winnie was pleasant and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast and the family of geese and the nicely cut lawn between the shed and the lodge. The staff were all friendly.
Arriving at the lodge, we were mad welcome by such friendly staff. Our check-in experience was very good. The internet was good in the rooms as well as the main lodge areas. The meals were excellent where the chefs prepared a variety of nourishing meals daily. Beatrice was always friendly and more than willing to assist in the dining room. Checking out was simple and no fuss.
Extremely beautiful house and surrounding areas. The resort property had everything you need and was always clean and well cared for. They even come and clean the house every two days. The lodge restaurant was incredible and they were so accommodating. The food was delicious too. I recommend ordering ahead of time or expect the food to take a little time, but it’s definitely worth the wait.
It is a very family friendly place, it's the perfect stay if you plan a safari trip to Lake Nakuru.
The kid's pool was brilliant, we had a lot of fun there.
The staff was very friendly, the hotel was very clean.
All in all, we had a wonderful stay at Ivory Park Hotel and will be returning soon.
Plain but clean premises with a relaxing garden. Nice breakfast where the hostess served a tasy porrige and some traditional Kenyan dished mixed with western flavours.
We got excellent help with arranging an affordable safari to Nakuru National park with short notice.
Great Staff! The house was perfect for our stay with all the necessary amenities. Restaurant next door at Ziwa Bush Lodge. Nakuru town is closed and Nakuru National park is also close.
Wow. Top lodge experience on our trip. Amazing service. Took care of our vegan diet easily and were excited to have us try the special meals and desserts. Great wifi. We loved it here. We also booked a drive with the lodge and it was great too!
If you're looking for a serene and relaxing space around nature, you can't go wrong with Ol-Muteita lodge. We felt at home right from the start! The food was delicious and fresh. Hats off to the chef, he really knows his flavors! The lodge was always clean topped with a great team of warm staff who were available to help at all times. The rooms were and interesting balance between safari and tech! So creative! Can't wait for our next trip back
Great place to stay within Nakuru park. Built as a collection of Lodges/huts - very clean and superb. Great facilities of the hotel, great staff will take care about you, variety of food in buffet form. The rooms will have fantastic view at the park.
