Wow. Did not expect rooms of this quality! Very large farm land with few cabanas spread out. Feels like a mini village. Highlight was the fresh river and river deck which I spent most my time reading. This place opened up a different side to me. Food was all local and healthy. Amazing cycling experience around the village and local lake in the morning followed by a kanda (Herbal Juice with solid honey) in the morning and a river bath will now be my epitome of happiness.

Kamal was a phenomenal host who went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay (giving rides to town, helping with dirt bike rentals, giving great personalized recommendations). Breakfast was the best we've had. Location was nicely off the main strip (though easily walkable) and convenient for hikes up Little Adam's Peak & Nine Arches Bridge. Highly recommend!

One of our favorite accommodations during our trip through Sri Lanka. It is a short walk from the main station away from the noisy center and at the end of a more quiet street right be the jungle. It offers a super comfy communal terrace/chill area which is decorated with a lot of personality and attention to details. From there you can watch the nature in front of you and might even catch a glimpse of the giant squirrel or other exotic animals. The room we had was cozy and very clean. Had a great night's sleep there while listening to the sounds of nature. Highlight of the place is the host Angelo, who is just an overall awesome person and who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Whether it's the chocolate cakes and tea upon arrival, serving us huge mountains of Sri Lankan breakfast every morning, letting us shower in an unoccupied room after we came back from a hike while already checked out or filling up our 5 liter water container before leaving, we really couldn't have asked for more. On top of that we had some nice conversations and received helpful recommendations. Thanks a lot for the great hospitality and hope to seeing you again.

Very welcoming and lovely guestfamily!! :-) the room was very comfortable and super clean. Hot water shower with good pressure. The location is Very peaceful 15 min drive out of town - beautiful birds and flowers :) breakfast and dinner was also really really good..

We had a fantastic stay here – the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka! We want to keep it our little secret, but the owner deserves more. Everything was taken care of, and the cottage had absolutely everything we needed, even travel adapters, bins, tea, coffee, umbrellas, everything. The view was truly stunning (overlooking a waterfall in a private patch of jungle). The owners were incredibly kind. For example, a thunderstorm caused a temporary power outage, they came through the pouring rain to bring us a storm lamp and an extra blanket we didn't ask for. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. We stayed for three nights (Ella is very easy to explore by scooter) and left with heavy hearts. In short: a beautiful place, beautiful people.
