Isuru is a wonderful host. He made us feel at home in his beautiful property and was extremely attentive. Any requests or questions we had we could just WhatsApp him and he'd reply within minutes. The house is easy walking distance to the beach and set in stunning gardens - perfect for a relaxing stay.

Loved everything about this place. The manager and floor staff made it excellent. Felt like a privately catered villa and instantly welcomed. Staff in Sri Lanka usually focused all questions and service on my husband first but the staff in this villa, catered to our comfort equally. Which was really appreciated by us both. It was my husband’s birthday whilst we stayed here and on request, they arranged a cake, sang happy birthday and decorated the bedroom… hilariously all to me! As it was my birthday the day before, his the day after. So our middle day has now become ‘our’ shared day, thanks to the staff here. Love this place.

our absolute favorite stay in sri lanka! we kept extending it because oh we loved it so much.
1. the place is ideally located between dickwella and hiriketiya. close to the main road but far enough to be quiet! (important for us)
2. the room is extremely clean and well-thought out. very beautifully decorated with so much love and attention to detail. we had everything needed and couldn’t ask for more really. having our own kitchen was a huge plus and you can also do your laundry here.
3. the host Dasitha is one of the nicest (if not the nicest) person we’ve ever met. he was so patient and humble and truly cared about our experience…! very welcoming and friendly. great communication too. made our stay so special. helped us a lot in all possible aspects of our travel. feeling very grateful we decided to stay there and meet him.
4. the space: there’s a quiet outdoor area with sunbeds. we loved it!
5. unbeatable value for the price.!

It was a nice, comfortable, quiet, and clean place with a good location.
The staff were friendly, kind, and helpful.
The beds had mosquito nets, which are very useful for preventing bites.
I had a private room with air conditioning.
I accidentally took the room key with me, but the host came to the next city to collect it, which was very thoughtful and kind of him.

I enjoyed a lot my stay there!😍 Very spacious room with a kitchen and a balcony with a beautiful view. Almost no mosquitos and flies disturbing, found 1 cockroach but they can be anywhere. 20min comfy walk with good views to town center is not long for that kind of peaceful location.
Only downside of the room was not strong water pressure in the shower
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
This place was recommended to me by friends who stayed there before and so I knew what to expect but still felt that it exceeded my expectations. It's a gem of a guesthouse where the owner has thought of everything. Simple but very comfortable and exceptionally clean lodgings but exceptional service and lots of little touches for every eventuality. Be sure to arrive hungry to breakfast, you also get a doggy bag to take away anything you can't finish! Close to the beach and The Doctor's House. I would definitely stay here again.
We loved the Apartment! The Location is perfect, especially if you want to surf.
The couple who runs the apartment is super nice and they put a lot of work into all the lovely details of the surf lodge. We can highly recommend!
