The owner was utterly charming and so friendly and attentive. He went out of his way to make us feel at home and made us a delicious and attractive breakfast every morning and included us in his family party which was so lovely of him. His friends and wife also welcomed us beautifully and took time out to talk to us and entertain us. The owner offered us one night in the cabin we thought we'd be staying in ( at the end of our stay )but by this time we had booked to stay elsewhere in Martinique. He was very generous with his time and had a wonderful sense of humour.
The grounds were incredible and wonderful and open for us to explore and discover. There was a stunning river, woods, waterful and a hammock spanning the river to explore as well as gorgeous flowers and plants he had carefully planted over the years. He cut one of his beautiful flowers and gave it to us as a special welcome. He was so lovely.

The location is fantastic, in the middle of lush greenery with peacocks and chickens. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The vanilla and farm tour was interesting. The lady who served us breakfast the first morning was an absolute delight and very helpful (this wasn't the owner).
