Located in the Lacandon jungle setting in Palenque, this resort is a 5 minute drive to the Archeological Zone of Palenque. A 60 km drive from Cascadas Agua Azul Natural Park.

Pools were good. Surroundings were phenomenal -green and lush; lots of birds. Monkeys calling. Lovely bird walk. Room clean and comfortable. Staff helpful and polite. Close to the ruins-you could walk there easily.

    The hotel is great for a stopover in Palenque. Nice swimming pool, friendly staff, pretty good food, private parking. For longer stays in Palenque I prefer the eco lodges in the jungle surrounding Palenque but if you would like to stay downtown I recommend this hotel.

    Beautiful hotel with separate lodges in a jungle environment. Close to the Maya temples. Large room with good airco and bath room. We had dinner twice and quality was very good. We enjoyed the swimming pool which was designed in a special way so it ended on an edge.

    We are very grateful for the wonderful service of Hotel Cabanas Safari. Our bus broke down from San Cristobal and we had to wait for 5 hours for a new one. We arrived at 4.00 in the morning. During that time the accommodation reached out to us if we were okay and they waited for us to arrive. The receptionist is a very kind man, the owner is very professional and the restaurant staff very friendly. We felt very looked after and would return to our comfortable cabana with the best shower!
