Yaxchen is our absolute favorite place to stay in Tulum. It's in the jungle right on the most beautiful cenote. A paradise for swimmers. Larisa who runs the place is an absolute sweetheart. It's tranquil, gorgeous, a true refuge from the craziness that can be Tulum. It's considered "Glamping", so don't expect luxury. But if you want to stay in a peaceful and beautiful place where you can truly unwind, Yaxchen can't be beat. Not only that, but you'll have access to the beach through a lovely resort 5 minutes walk down the road, Dos Ceibas. We'll always return to Yaxchen, an absolute gem!

Location was great, private access to a cenote was fabulous. There’s an amazing taco restaurant and coffee shop 2 min walk away.
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The location is absolutely amazing, right at the beautiful beach of Tulum, were you can see the most stunning sunset!! The lodge we stayed was pretty basic, but still beautiful as it's feels you're immersed in nature and has everything you need, few steps away from the beach! Great stay!
Excellent place you can find here exceptional spot. Real gem of Tulum. Lodge was great, everything that you need. Wonderful common area with real huge professional kitchen.
Amazing place to stay. Feels like a pirates lair but amped up to a jungly lodge by the beach. It’s luxurious and very chilled. We had just the best stay and highly recommend. Staff were brilliant throughout as was the food, service and vibe.
Great location at the beach (which was sargassum free in the morning) and amazing lounge on the beach. Hotel has a cool setup with the different lodges and a sandy path in between. The free bikes are perfect to discover the area. No noise from the clubs.
