Wonderful lodges right on the beach. Magnificent views of the beach and sea. Wonderful pool area, covered so we could swim without burning. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff or management. Beautifully comfortable beds and linen and aircon.

This self-catering place was a perfect choice for our time in Vilanculos (before and after a sailing trip in the area). The sea facing villas are absolutely amazing, with a marvellous deck to watch the sun rise and a beautiful attic sleeping area perfect for kids. The owners Lida and Christo were extremely helpful, they picked us up and took us back to the airport and they provided very valuable advice when LAM cancelled our flight back to Maputo. We also ate at Kilimanjaro Café - also owned by Lida and Christo - a couple of times and the food was really nice.

We had a fabulous stay at Ebony Beach. The property is right on the beach. Unit one is on the water edge with beautiful sea views. We stayed 3 nights in unit 2, which are a bit higher up the property. It's not really a sea view from there but still overlooks a very well-kept tropical garden and your private pool. The trees block the sea view. The unit is a 4 bedroom spacious house in a very nice Colonial style. It's definitely a prime spot for Vilanculos.
