These tents feature all feature verandas with views of the Okavango River. Each tent includes wooden flooring and a wardrobe. They also have a mosquito net and a bathroom.

Location was awesome, right on the river. You could almost touch the hippos. There we’re constantly animals to view grazing across the river.

Set on the banks of the Okavango River, Shametu River Lodge offers views of the Popa Falls and is 4 mi from Divundu. Free private parking is available on site.

The staff is fantastic, seems genuinely happy to work here went well beyond the normal level of care. One of us was not feeling well and the manager on duty without hesitation led us by car to the nearby private doctor 10 minutes away. That evening the staff also very kindly brought the meal to the room so the ill person could rest. Beside the staff, the grounds are very beautiful, the restaurant has *excellent* food and the bar area is amazing. We also did a boat trip which was very nice.

Great location and layout. Many hippos were less than 100ft away. Had a real safari lodge feel but with good comforts. They made a great effort to accommodate us as vegetarians

Very good lodge, big room with private bathroom. Equipped with stove, microwave, refrigerator, etc. The rooms are literally on the okavango River, and we could see and hear the wild animals in the Buffalo park. Highly recommend to take 1 or 2 of the activities the lodge offers. Very recommended

The room we stayed in was absolutely incredible. It was in the most amazing spot for watching hippos and had beautiful as well as functional decor. There has clearly been real care taken to make these rooms stylish and practical, with an absolute appreciation nature worked in. We spent almost every moment of our stay watching the hippos from our balcony and we’re already dreaming of going back. The food provided was also exceptional. Thank you Ndhovu Lodge, we can’t wait to visit again!

The accomodation was so nice and we had a familiar atmosphere. Everything was clean and the service was good. The food was extraordinarily good and every need was fulfilled. They had "Family dining" where everyone got the same food and still everybody was more than happy. The boat trip to Popa-falls was a once in a lifetime experience🥰 The wildlife was always close to the lodge and we had something new to see all the time.
