The lodge was just so well designed down to the smallest detail. Re-use of materials makes it such a unique place. The food too was excellent. The Lithops greenhouse is definitely worth a visit. The host was exceptionally welcoming and friendly and the staff were extremely helpful. We had dinner and breakfast and the food and service was excellent. The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming, making us feel at home from the start. The lodge exceeded our expectations in comfort and cleanliness. Another highlight is definitely the food they serve. Suuuuper delicious! The genuine friendliness of everyone there was remarkable. It’s a dream for someone with an interest in geology - different rocks, some of which have been used for making cement. The former cement facility remains in place ….albeit a wreck, but interesting.
