GermanyFriendly and competent staff, owners also live there and est breakfast and dinner with the guests. Excellent all-day walking safari (just me and guide) and jeep safari (5 people max), organised flexibly according to guest wishes and weather. Food also really good local dishes, with a few alternatives. Dinner is set menu with 2nd helpings available.

This is a true rustic eco-lodge blending beautifully with the natural surroundings. The lodge is walking distance to both the Elephant Breeding Centre and the main entrance of Bardia National Park. Staff at the lodge were very helpful, lodge comfortable and food good. The activities (the reason you go to a venue like this) were outstanding. Our guide saw to our every need, and we were able to see a magnificent range of birds and animals. He will do his best to make your stay great (including refilling the fridge with beers as many times as needed...). You will get to share his daily life with his family. I had great conversation with him, and learnt a lot about the reality of Nepal while I was there. The lodges are simple but with all what is needed.
