We really enjoyed our stay. The grounds and the views of the mountains and surrounding area are beautiful. The pool and hot tub were delightful after days of hiking, biking, or other activities. The living room/dining area, kitchen, and balcony provided a really nice place to hang out and relax. If you've been staying in smaller motels or accommodations, it's great to have a place to unpack and spread out--especially if you're lucky enough to be able to stay 3-4 days as we were. We weren't expecting to see the night sky so clearly in the Queenstown area, but the views at night from the property were stunning. Although this is outside downtown Queenstown by a 15-minute drive, it is minutes away from activities we were interested in: lots of hiking and biking options, Arrowtown and the Gibbston wine region, and for our departure--the airport! Appreciated that the hosts provide access to bikes and laundry, and were very accommodating. This is a wonderful place for couples and for families.

We had booked one room and then added another night that made us move a room.
The first room was absolute amazing. Bath, great place and a lot of room for a couple without feeling claustrophobic. Shower was amazing, high pressure and great water.
In both rooms the beds were very comfy
Second room had great views to the mountains which adds a lot in the morning
There is a shared kitchen and living room for all the rooms together, laundry was great, hot tub as well!

1st night we stayed at a very small room, no view. for the 2nd reservation we got a very large room, much better. But the check in process is very complicated and it totally depends on having internet access. lucky us we got it at the moment. But it is still a bit annoying, without anyone to help.

Super Amazing host David and Juliet. Made sure we had everything we needed and more. Went out of their way to make breakfast that catered to Gluten allergy. Down to earth and amazing people who run a clean, comfortable and beautiful Lodge. We liked the cleanliness of the room and also the shared facilities were super clean. It was only a short walk from Queenstown centre.
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Very spacious room (half of a lodge), great views on vineyard or garden, complimentary wine testing with a passionate and knowledgeable expert. it was nice to have an option of an in-room dinner after the bistro was closed - we had some gourmet pizza with our wine :) it was nice to observe birds and rabbits playing around at the property.
