Harbour lodge is located at an elevated position in Lyttelton, quite easy to find, (with GPS). On arrival I was greeted by Frank who gave a tremendous introduction to Lyttelton and its facilities and good eating places. the Lodge was very clean, great facilities and is a friendly place. the view from the room window was spectacular, the room had a sliding door to the timber decked garden area

Harbour lodge was perfect. Frank was a diligent and friendly host, everything we needed was there and the view was spectacular. It was any easy walk into central Lyttleton to the Lyttleton Arts Factory for the show.

We (2 adults and 2 children) really enjoyed our stay at Diamond Harbour Lodge. The rooms are spacious and offer a great view over the bay. The breakfast in the room was very convenient. We set off on the 40 minute cliff track straight after arrival. Doable with children from about 6 years. It goes up and down but the view is great. At the end, we enjoyed a cool drink at the Diamond Harbour Eatery & Bar. For the next day we did a hike in Orton Bradly Park. Great!

this entire experience was so wonderful. we were a weary group of travelers and we needed great food, laundry facilities and comfort. What we got were incredibly thoughtful hosts, a ride to dinner to an amazing restaurant, spectacular views and outstanding amenities. Frank and Jennie are so thoughtful and this lodge with the beautiful views, garden and special touches in the kitchen like fruit and cereal and milk just made our stay spectacular.
