AustraliaHad everything we needed for a short stay. We were happy we had a room within a room so it was perfect for our family of 3 adults. Parents will absolutely enjoy this room with its little twin bed room inside...ideal for young kids. It was about a 2 hour drive to Milford Sound... And really close to the fabulous glowworm caves and good restaurants.
Common kitchen was handy to fix a quick brekky before heading out.
If a simple, clean, convenient stay is what you're after go for it.

United StatesThe location is awesome with great western views. The staff treated us like royalty😊 The included breakfast was hearty with added touches. Specialty juices. Dinner was an add in but start with drinks and canapés. Excellent food right on site. Nice at the end of a long hiking day

CanadaFirst class bed and breakfast! The best! Beautiful and very comfortable accomodation, warm welcome and care from the owners, cake and wine offered, great breakfast!!! The view is fantastic. Quiet and serenity!

The beds are really comfortable, and the hotel area just has a really nice vibe. You can cook easily in the common room, and have it in your lodge. Close to Te Anau and 2 hours away from Milford. Possum Lodge is in a great spot, you can walk through the woods to the harbour for the boat trip to Doubtful Sound. Its just a shame there isn't a view of the lake. It's a peaceful and relaxing retreat surrounded by gorgeous views of neighboring farms.
