Amazing place - eco-friendly set up in a really attractive location - fruit trees, grape vines, trees, pond, wildlife. Very welcoming hosts. Superb breakfast with lots of options provided in large communal kitchen where you are welcome to cook your own evening meals if you want to. We opted to eat at The Smoking Barrel in Motueka (strongly recommend) - driving back in the dark afterwards was a little hairy as the Lodge is at the end of a side road off the main road through Motueka.
Featuring sea views, Lodge by the beach in Kaiteriteri features accommodation, a garden, a private beach area, a shared lounge, a terrace and a restaurant.

Very comfortable room, super clean, very friendly staff and excellent location. Opposite beach, entrance to National Park, 2 really good places to eat and drink within 10 mins walk. We loved our stay
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
It was quiet, and very comfortable.
The lodge is situated in a beautiful country setting with an abundance of fruit and ornamental trees surrounding itt. Reasonably close to the township but worlds away in a rural area.
The breakfast was exceptional, far exceeding what you might expect. Fresh milk and fruit and bakery delights.
The owners put their whole heart into this lodge! The grounds are kept well with fruit trees, herbs and chickens on the property which provide for the included breakfast. The cooking facilities are amazing with all the cutlery, crockery and utensils you need in the shared space. Close to Kaiteriteri and with amazing views to the hills where the sun sets.
Very nice stay in this confortable quiet lodge in the middle of nature. Shared sitting room, tv room and a large very organised shared kitchen add to the confort of this very welcoming location. All local ingridients, (home grown fruit, homemade jams, local milk, eggs.. at your disposal for a nice breakfast. Tea, coffee and fruits all day
This lodge is just amazing!
The rooms are very comfortable, the owners are very kind, the facilities are of high quality (over 300 DVDs, an arcade video game from the 90's, books and games), and the breakfast is excellent!
Very well located also if you want to take a cruise from Kaiteriteri to hike in Abel Tasman National Park.
Surrounded by a beautiful garden and scenery, this lodge is a great place to unwind. The hosts are friendly, the breakfast is delicious with fruit from their garden, eggs from their chickens, fresh bread and pastries from their bakery you are spoilt for choice. The kitchen and communal area are always tidy, and the rooms have comfortable beds and a well-appointed bathroom. Would highly recommend this place.
Exceptional lodging! Our favorite place to stay in NZ thus far! Tranquil setting, comfortable rooms and beds, and outstanding service. Beth and Eric have established a unique and superior experience for travelers.
