AustraliaThe views were sensational and the apartment was fabulous! We were extremely lucky to get fresh baked bread the first morning and the second morning we got home made crossaints. Both mornings we had fresh fruit, yoghurt and condiments. Such an awesome place to end our Honeymoon and 3.5 week trip around New Zealand.

United StatesOur stay at Te Awa was the perfect welcome to New Zealand. Our hosts provided a personal experience for us in the Bay of Islands. The setting couldn’t have been more spectacular on the banks of the river, and our room was very comfortable and peaceful. We enjoyed the pool each afternoon, following a day of exploring, and watched the moon rise each evening from the expansive deck. Breakfasts were delicious and prepared us for a day of activity. We appreciated every recommendation provided by Martin and Joelson. They definitely set the bar for the rest of our time in New Zealand. If you have the chance to stay here, we couldn’t recommend it more highly!

The Commodores Lodge is very central in Russell with bars and restaurants nearby. We were very impressed with the room and the facilities, the room was very clean with good facilities. We enjoyed eating a picnic dinner out there one evening. Simply fabulous. While there is a pool we didn't use it as the Lodge is only a few steps away from the beach and preferred to swim in the sea. We did warm up in the spa pool after one swim which was very nice. Well appointed kitchen to do breakfast, lunch and simple dinners.
