Amazing place, Clarisse is an brilliant host, and what a cook!
The only slight thing i would have liked is an addition of a window/ventilation on the back/east side of the cabin, just to let some breeze flow through, also a stronger fan would be nice. No real complaints though.

the service provided during my stay was far below acceptable standards, regardless of price. Paying $1,200, even with a 15% discount, does not justify the series of issues we encountered, which I mention them:
* Persistent water issues that were not resolved despite being reported on the first day.
* Incomplete room cleaning, which is unacceptable in any accommodation.
* Failure to replace towels adequately.
* Poor breakfast service, with untrained volunteers unable to meet basic expectations.
* Lack of essential bathroom amenities, a basic standard even in lower-cost establishments.
These are not minor inconveniences; they represent fundamental shortcomings in the quality of the service. Comparing the rates to other accommodations in the area does not address the core issue: the service provided did not meet even minimal expectations, let alone justify the cost.

Perfect location for my stay at Isla Colón. Not in the busy town but close enough to go into town and close to the beautiful Bluff beach. The hostel has got everything you need (plenty of space to cook) and has a good atmosphere. Lots of activities but no parties until late night. Best of both worlds. The big beds on the beach are perfect to chill.

Amazing place with the most serene views. An unforgettable experience. Andy, the owner, goes the extra mile to make your stay personal and memorable. Free access to paddle boards and kayaks, fantastic food, and friendly staff. Dolphins swimming in the bay at dinner time, what more would you want? Good luck Andy 👍

The Ecolodge itself is Immersed in a beautiful setting in the jungle at the edge of the Caribbean Sea on Popa Island, which is the best choice of the Bocas del Toro archipelago, if you want to escape the crowds. Our stay here featured daytime adventures and nights filled with jungle sounds, the glow of fireflies and amazing starry skies on clear nights. Hummingbird feeders were kept full with five species of hummingbird regularly visiting them along with a few Bananaquits. Bananas were strung up in a tree and attracted birds such as Toucans, Aracaris, Oropendolas and Tanagers. A three-toed Sloth was also spotted around the lodging area occasionally.
During our seven night stay we explored the surrounding area alone by foot and kayak and took advantage of several free guided trips that were offered as part of our stay. Our favorites were the birdwatching tour which included birding in the garden and surrounding trails and a boat ride up a nearby creek and a Night Walk Tour where we saw all sorts of amazing nocturnal creatures, both big and small. We also participated in a few “specialized” paid tours which were amazing. We saw several different color morphs of the Strawberry poison-dart frog on nearby islands on the Poison Frog Tour, actively participated in, and engaged with a nearby local community, to collect coconuts and extract the coconut oil on the Coconut Oil Extraction Tour, with proceeds going directly to the local community. Along with the Coconut Tour our favorite was the Bird tour to the Punta Rabalo Marsh and the Cloud Forest on the adjacent mainland with a local guide specifically hired for this tour who was very knowledgeable on the local flora and fauna of the area and a great birding guide.
Three meals a day were provide by the friendly staff which were always delicious and they even did a decent job of accommodating our vegan diet. The accommodations themselves are rustic but they were clean and included all of all of the basic necessities.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

Travellers who stayed in Bocas del Toro near Bocas del Toro Isla Colon International Airport (BOC) had good things to say about Skully's House, Jungle Paunch and Pure Roots.
The location of the lodge is right on the beach, which is awesome! The dorms are pretty nice and the beds are super comfy. Very nice restaurant with good food and drinks.
The location and setting of the lodge was one of a kind. Beautiful deserted beach in the middle of the jungle. It was impossible not to relax.
I'm vegetarian and they had an excellent selection of food at the restaurant.
While it's low season and some bookable activities were unavailable, the staff went out of their way to help me find interesting things to do on my days away from the lodge/beach.
The location off the beautiful Red Frog beach is the best feature of the place. The beach was not too crowded given we were off-season (April 18).The facilities are shaded by tropical / palm trees, well groomed. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The beach cabaña we rented was very clean, including the bathroom. The short walk through the jungle to the lodge is beautiful and sets the relaxed vibe of the place.
Nice set up, lodges spread out with a separate community area with cool bar n restaurant and popular slide into the water! Rooms nice and spacey clean, staff helpful and friendly and food was very nice don’t miss out!
Easy check in and the free shuttle from the docks was easy to find and on time.
The lodges were absolutly as expected. Very quiet place and easy to chill. The property has kayaks and snorkel equipment. The diner and evening meal were very good and the staff were friendly.
