We really loved the property and Rudi and Claudia were exceptional hosts, they really helped us feel like we were part of the family. We enjoyed our morning breakfast, so delicious & we had dinner one evening at the lodge which was exceptional! The view from our room was amazing, we loved listening to the river, so relaxing! We loved Max & Tupac...dog & llama that thinks he's a dog ;) We appreciated how they handled our luggage while we were away for a few days. They were so helpful with getting taxi rides and they even did some of our laundry! We would highly recommend staying at the Spirit of the River Lodge!

The room that we got was so clean and so cute. There’s a cute hostel cat that runs around. The space is huge and you can hang out in multiple places. It’s a little far from town but it’s a safe and nice walk. Breakfast was simple but yummy!

Where do I start? We were on our way to Machu Picchu, and decided to stay one night at the Lodge. And what a paradise we found, multiple lodges on the side of the hill, under lush vegetation. We had a two-level lodge, with a huge bathtub, and a kitchen.
The personnel was great, very professional, starting with the manager Lorena, who went out of her way to help us sort some train and MP entrance issues. They even sent somebody to get the fireplace going. All in all wish we had more days to enjoy a peaceful surrounding.

This is a lovely little bed and breakfast with the most incredible staff. The place is very clean and there is a nice garden that I enjoyed sitting and reading by.
