SwitzerlandWe loved everything in the lodge: the tastefully decorated and recently built Cabanas, with huge bathroom, super comfy beds and cute terrace with view on the Gocta cascade, set in a stunning well-kept garden. We could not use the natural water pool as we were in winter season, but it looked very inviting. The staff all from the local village is very friendly and they served one of the best breakfast in Perú.

AustriaThe GoctaLab was an exceptionally nice place to stay. We stayed in the suite for 3 nights and the view of the cloud forest and the waterfall when we woke up through the wide window front was our highlight. The breakfast was very, very good and we also liked the idea of having small dishes in the fridge to take away. The bed was super comfortable.

South AfricaThe location must be one of the best in Peru. In our room, we could open the door, lie in bed and look out onto the Gocta Falls, the entire valley and listen to the birds singing in the Cloud Forest.
The host, Mario, is an amazingly friendly and helpful man, great to talk to and extremely helpful. Not to mention, a great cook as well! His pizzas are world class!

So peaceful and relaxing. Delicious homemade meals using local ingredients. Very caring and helpful staffs. There was a road construction and some hours were inaccessible by car but it wasn’t troublesome, was easy to adapt our schedule to visit archeological sites.
