It’s more of a local vibe than touristy Papeete and the grounds are absolutely stunning, relaxing, and private. We booked the vai iti bungalow (with the hot tub on the private deck) and highly recommend for the romantic and relaxing part of your trip. Breath taking views from each lodge. Great staff, so helpful and pleasant when we needed it most. We loved it here, and so pleased we were able to stay a second night! Restaurant was very good, although they ran out of a couple things at dinner and breakfast, but that wasn't a big deal to us. The few staff that we met were kind and friendly.
