Providing mountain views, 1000 Stars in Ban Huai Phaya Kao provides accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a restaurant.

Very nice location and beautiful view. Good food and nice staff. Rainy season so no stars for us. With some maintaining the place would be fantastic.

The hosts were very accommodating and the house itself is an old wooden house which made the stay very different from staying at “normal” hotels. it was a good experience.

It’s a old traditional wooden house, location is okay. Night bazaar and clock tower easy within walking distance. the room was spacious. Equipped with enough plugs, hairdryer and ac. Pillows & blanket were comfy. The woman at the reception is really sweet and friendly.

I booked 3 peoples room but ends up I got a room with spacious living hall and big shower room . Its made my day! This guesthouse is a kind of traditional wooden house with well managed which gave us a great hospitality! The lady who welcomed us is so cute and even offer to help me to receive and keep my parcels before I touch down to the guesthouse :) Oh ya! Giving big applause too for the breakfast (Thai Rice Porridge or Western Meal) and coffee! Walking distance too to Chiang Rai Night Bazaar!

The swimming pool was the best thing about this lodging. Also I had a nice fairly large room with a fair sized bathroom for a very reasonable sum.

5minutes walk to the night market and old bus station,I booked the room inside the wooden house which was built nearly 100years ago, handed over by the owener's mother. I like such old-fashioned house as it's a special experience.
