The best kept secret of Murchison Falls. Somewhat hidden behind a school you can find this great lodge with superb view on the Nile and a great swimming pool. The very friendly staff is helpful and makes one feel at home. Food is excellent! It’s a 15 minute drive to the nearest gate of Murchison Falls.

The staff is super friendly and the facilities are a great value for money. There are many very expensive lodges around, but this one is just as nice, but just a bit more simple. It is near the entrance of the Murchinson Falls National Park and all safari and boat tour arrangements can be made at the facility. Worth the stay and a great place to be based to enjoy the park. Sunsets by the pool are also a great feature!

Friendly and helpful staff. The host will arrange a ranger for you to start the safari in the morning. They make lunch for you take with you to safari. Very peaceful place to stay and to relax!

The breakfast was very good and the location was excellent, although the lodge was a bit difficult to find and was a few miles from Pakwach.

Very nice setting with separate cottages around a central lodge, about 20 minutes from the northern entrance of Lake Murchison National Park. Extremely fiendly and helpful staff.

Fort Murchison Lodge is a perfect place to start your explorations of the National Park, as well as to relax and recover after strenuous game drives. A spacious pool area makes you forget all the heat and the huge garden with a view over Albert Nile is just wonderful. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. The helpful stuff is just amazing and they read every wish from your lips. Last but not least to mention is the excellent food! We enjoyed our stay the fullest!
