The location is nice. The building is very pretty. Everything was cleaned, modern. I appreciated the details from the owners about things to do in the black hills. I recommend this place very strongly.

These are very well build and designed cabins in the woods just outside of Hill City. Very peaceful place to stay that feels rustic and in nature in the middle of very busy and tourist Black Hills. We really love the Black Hills area and this helps us enjoy being there. Is relatively close to Rushmore, Jewel Cave, Deadwood, Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake, ATV rentals, 1880 Train, riding some of the fantastic gravel Michelson bike trail, etc, which we did all of and more. A very good value if you have six or so people with you.
Providing mountain views, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi, Mountain View Lodge & Cabins is located in Hill City, 18 km from Mount Rushmore and 24 km from Black Hills National Forest.

Breakfast was coffee and donuts, "grab and go", from 7.30 .
The decor in the room was fresh and very tasteful and rustic, fitting in with the setting in the countryside.
The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was soft and pretty. The towels were soft and thick.
Loved the communal BBQs on the balcony, plus the mini firepit and pizza oven.
Fridge was fairly new. Coffee maker worked well and coffee pods were of good quality. There was a microwave.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Location was perfect about 2 miles west of Custer and not far from Custer State Park, Crazy Horse and Mt Rushmore Memorials. Very nice rooms! This lodge was very attractive and they had a BBQ on site.
Everything was exceptional from the check-in to the time we left. The room was absolutely beautiful. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying at the Creekside Lodge.
We were with two couples in the Eagles Landing lodge for 3 nights. We met with Deb and her daughter and they were extremely helpful to us and we felt very welcome. The lodge and the rooms have been very tastefully decorated, it has a lot of facilities ( fully equiped kitchen, games room with a pool table) and it all worked fine. We enjoyed our stay very much and we would absolutely recommend it. Warmest regards, Bert & Adriana and Maarten & Monique
This is my favorite hotel we’ve stayed in on this trip. The food at the lodge was also the best meal we’d had so far. Been on the road for 12 days with 3 more to know. The staff was incredibly polite and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.
2 adults and a medium sized dogs traveling across the country to MA. Arrived late but clear instructions were given and once we arrived we were greeted and had any questions answered and were led to our room. We were exhausted... Tayler and family were fantastic and in the am we had coffee together and talked about sights on our journey. Dog was happy to have room to run. People were so kind. Lodge is located west of downtown Custer so it was quiet and peaceful. Nice job Rains family!!! Thank you.
BHBungalows Main Lodge was the perfect place for our group of 7 to spend the holiday! There was more than enough space for all of us. The hosts accommodated our group size by supplying more than enough towels. We enjoyed the views and hot tub!
Located within Custer State Park, it is right in the middle of all the things one can do in the park. It is far enough off of State Highway Alt16 that it offers a really peaceful setting. It is also right next door (5 min walk) to the State Game Lodge which has an excellent restaurant. It also has a very nice outdoor courtyard with tables and a great place to enjoy the animals that wonder up. We saw a small group of bighorn sheep.
