There was a desk to accommodate that. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was modern. Each of us had a comfortable chair. I give the owners so much credit for upgrading and modernizing the concept of the motor lodge. Make sure you request an upgraded room. It's a western motel with mostly downstairs rooms, so you can park right in front of your room. The main lodge has very comfortable couches, tv, fireplace and such, so it's a great spot to sit.
