United StatesWe were SO close to the park that when I woke up at 3 am, and saw the volcano was erupting, we were able to jump in the Jeep and see it! The staff were super sweet and helpful. My daughter loved the night-time hot tub soaks.

United StatesThe location was perfect since it was super close to Volcano National Park. This is much more like a European Hostel. Our room was small with a queen size bed and located on top floor of the house. It was perfect for our needs. Sharing the bathroom was never an issue. No one was waiting on us and we were never waiting on the bathroom on our floor. If it was occupied, we could have easier used another bathroom. We enjoyed meeting the other couples from around the world. The couples in the other 4 bedrooms were all friendly and respectful. We had food in the fridge and freezer without any issues. We loved it.

We loved it so much we were reluctant to leave it each morning to go exploring! The only down side was getting there, especially in the dark as the roads leading to it from the west are a mine field of potholes.
