The area that Love House was in was beautiful, up in the mountains with goats and chickens, surrounded by nature The staff arranged our transfer from Hai Phong airport, including a crossing by cable car. They were helpful and very kind, offering a taxi service down to Cat Ba town. It would be a great place to get away from it all. They were upset when we left early, but it just wasn't the place for us for reasons below.

Very beautiful hidden place! Cat ba is totally under construction and this place made it very beautifully. Staff was friendly and supportive. Especially Huy was a great personal in YEN. Super charming and helpful! We can definitely recommend. For a long stay these bungalows would have been to small for us. But for a short stay definitely worth to escape the loud constructions in the city. Breakfast was great and scooter rental was easy.

Friendly host. He offered us tasty herbal tea every morning. Good room, very clean and large with a kettle. Comfy bed. They changed the towels every day. Each bungalow has two chairs and a table outside, so we could spend our evenings enjoying the garden view. My favourite kind of hotels. The garden is nice. But the pool was under reconstruction and the workers were noisy. It will be much better when the pool is finished. Actually we liked everything except breakfast. It was not enough, I was still hungry after it. The food in the restaurant is a good quality but not delicious.

We loved our stay here the family is so kind and caring the property is beautiful, food is amazing with good portion sizes and everything is reasonably priced they can arrange boat tours and walking tours through the national park, village visits and much more. They also rent motor scooters for a good price. The rooms are large and very clean and secure with a big bathroom, they have 3 lovely dogs and a cat that love scratches and cuddles. A large pool outside the room and amazing Mountain View’s. It’s located just 10min drive from the large town however we stuck mostly to the mountain areas with the views and local people. We look forward to coming back and visiting again in a couple of years it was our favourite stay in Vietnam by far :)

A calm and nice hidden oasis in the midst of a busy street in the town. The host family were very helpful and super efficient in helping us organise ourselves with local attractions, further transfers and food sometimes at quite a short notice. You will have everything you need and more for a comfortable and pleasant stay with Helen. The room was a bit small for us since we are a family of four, but the beautiful outside court yard made up for that in heaps. Well recommended!

This was a wonderful, quiet place to stay away from the noise and bustle of the village. I had some wonderful, quiet evenings sitting on the deck of the cabin, watching the sun set with a glass of wine. The food was excellent! The staff went above and beyond to help me plan my stay on the island, organizing tours and transport for me. With their help, everything went without a single problem, and I had a wonderful time! A huge thanks to everyone who helped me during my stay and were just so wonderfully kind and accommodating. Nice birding and wildlife watching nearby! Thousands of butterflies, if you go at the right time of year.
