The property is definitely not what I saw on the internet. There is a bad smell in the toom that was allocated to us. There was a lit of noise in the property.Honestly pictures and reality are different. I liked nothing There. Thanks for the refund. We went somewhere better.

Airport Bird & Game Lodge is situated next to bushland 10 km north of Johannesburg International Airport. It features lush landscaped gardens, an outdoor swimming pool and free airport shuttle.

Great, safe location with airport shuttle. Very clean and comfortable. Value for money restaurant and breakfast. Fabulous grounds to walk/sit in. There was a problem with the WiFi but the staff tried hard to fix it.

Very friendly hosts with a great selection of drinks on offer. Beautiful garden with a pool, which we, unfortunately, didn't get to use because of the weather. Room and bathroom were clean and facilities more than acceptable. Parking right outside the room a bonus, too.

    Such a comfortable place to stay! The rooms were clean, the lobby was clean, and the kitchen was clean—overall, the entire place was neat and tidy. There was a huge passage to walk through, making it a nice place to have supper. The staff was awesome—very humble and helpful, especially Steve and the cleaning woman. The owner of the lodge, Mr. Samuels, was so humble and helpful. He is the main reason I will be coming back here again. Highly recommended.

    Our host Kelly was very friendly and accommodating. She kindly said our check out could be later as I had been ill that night and the room was not booked out. My husband had breakfast and said he really enjoyed it. It is definitely a Lodge I’d recommend and will return to any day! The staff were also friendly and relaxed which I think says a lot about their working environment.

    The lodge is absolutely beautiful. It looks like a hotel - the pictures honestly dont do it justice honestly. We enjoyed our night there. The electric blankets kept us very warm, on the chilly winter night. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely book here. The hospitality from the owners was so welcoming. A 10/10 overall! No complaints at all.

    I stayed at the Wild Tree Lodge before a running race. The room was tastefully decorated and had blockout curtains to ensure a good night’s rest. Kelly, the host, was amazing and especially had pasta on the menu, because of the runners. She also packed breakfast packs because of our early start. The best touch, though, was that she offered that I could go back after my race and shower before heading back home. Fantastic experience, I will definitely be back.
