Everything was amazing. The restaurant is independently owned and managed. The resident's menu is the same each day. Great food but boring after a few days. Rooms and accommodation were fantastic.

I had the pleasure of staying at Blackheath Lodge for 3 nights, and it was truly a memorable experience. The location is fantastic – just a short walk from the beautiful Sea Point Promenade and V&A Waterfront and you could also catch the Red City HOHO bus from Greenpoint lighthouse.
The guesthouse itself is absolutely charming and beautifully maintained. It strikes the perfect balance between stylish and welcoming. The second day I decided to not go out much and relax by the pool as I felt the hotel itself had to be enjoyed as well. The made to order hot breakfast and the continental selection was top notch as well.
What really made my stay exceptional and the entire staff was incredible. I interacted most with Simon, Hamid, and Mimi, and they were all absolutely wonderful – so friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. Great conversations too and tons of suggestions during my stay! From the moment I arrived I was greeted until I called my uber to take me back to the airport to go back home. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, and their warmth added a personal touch to the whole experience.
I can't recommend Blackheath Lodge enough. I wish I had a few more nights there but I'll definitely be back and stay with them.

Nice breakfast choices, great location and easy walk to museums, a couple of restaurants right on the square. Loved the balcony with view of Table Mountain. Staff friendly and laid back and very accommodating.
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
