The location of the Lodge, the peace and quiet, the vegetation, everything is extraordinary. If you come in from Johannesburg , like I did, this is like an oasis, like finding water in the desert. We were the only guests for the night but Frans made sure we had everything we need, served our food and drinks promptly and lit the fire just for us. The owners, Willem and Esther, were so friendly and arranged for something special for breakfast hence it was my husband's birthday.
