The staff were amazing - from the manager right through to every waiter and service staff. The food was incredible. Our game driver and guide was outstanding, so knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely room, although perhaps it might've been good have thatch to be more in touch with the bush. Whilst it was good to have fine dining, my past experience of being in the bush is that it can be nice to have buffet where you're able to experience different foods.
The reserve had a lot of rain prior to our arrival, roads were challenging and because it's very rocky terrain with many hills and valleys made it tough to get around. That said, the lodge made every attempt to make the best out of this situation.
True to say that 57 Waterberg go above and beyond to give you an optimal experience. They capture this in their Purpose and Values which they live every day.

Everything! This lodge is one of the best I have ever stayed in. From the food, to the safaris, to the staff, I have zero complaints. The rooms are amazing and very clean. Special thanks to Nkuli, Nadia, Moyo, Lydia, Martha, and Jan who made my stay extra special. I was welcomed/treated like family and was sad to leave. And Moyo is by far the most knowledgeable ranger/guide I have ever met. Will have to return one day so I can stay longer!
