The location was excellent. Close to town and yet you felt as if you were in the countryside. So peaceful that we slept late every morning. This was aided by the amazingly comfortable bed! Everything else we needed and more was provided. Helpful staff assisted us with our luggage and settled us in. Free firewood made available.

I had a wonderful stay at Fisherhaven Traveller's Lodge. My room was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped. The property is clean, quiet and safe. Vanessa and Derek are amazing hosts, very welcoming and helpful. The nearby Botrivier Lagoon and Rooisand Nature Reserve are excellent for hiking or walking, relaxing and birdwatching.

Located alongside a lake, Old Mac Daddy offers quirky accommodations in a variety of holiday homes and refurbished vintage trailers.

We loved how engaged all the staff and management were, in particular Denver. All the activities for the kids and the fact that they did extras like free ice lollies, popcorn, roasting marshmallows, pizza making etc. These did not go unnoticed. We were at Daddy's Hideaway and they warn you on the website that you need a 4x4 or SUV to get there and they are not joking - thanks for the heads up:-). There is one turn in particular to keep an eye out for.

Gorgeous lodge, wonderful hosts, terrific location in one of the most stunning parts of the coast. And walking distance to penguins!!! I stayed here instead of Cape Town the night before returning my rental car and flying out. ( the morning drive to CPT was beautiful and only took about an hour, most of which is spectacular scenery.) Seriously regretted not having more days here, as this would have been a great base for my whole trip. The lodge itself is gorgeous, extremely spacious with pool and wide loggias to read or work or enjoy the view, many other amenities I didn't have time to enjoy.

It was clean and neat and bright and shiny. Loved the pool deck area and we were a group of friends so was lovely to spend time together out there. Was comforting to know that the cars were safely parked behind good security.
