Fantastic stay. . The Luxury Tent was just lovely, including the wonderful toiletries from Africology - just wow, best smelling hand soap I have ever come across- and the beds were very comfortable . The staff so friendly. The facilities fantastic. Food delicious. Our guide Sinesh was so insightful. Our game drives so special- we encountered elephant so close to the vehicle .

With mountain views, Waterberg Game Lodge is located in Bela-Bela and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace.

The hosts were really lovely, Caroline was an absolute gem. The food was out of this world, a solid 10/10. We felt like we were right at home. We really needed this break away from the hustle and bustle of Johannesburg. The massage, just wow also a solid 10/10. I would suggest that there be a designated treatment room not an old room with furniture. A massage is about the atmosphere too: a dimmed room, gowns, some diffusers to smell great, soft music and a relaxing atmosphere. I also enjoyed the game drive, I was hoping to see buffalo though.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hornbill House, it's perfect for a large gathering of friends and family. We loved that the bedroom lodges were separate from the entertainment area so you can come together to socialise but also retreat to your private area when you would like. The entertainment area is perfect for a gathering, we loved sitting around the boma while braaing and chatting. The house keepers were so lovely, helpful and friendly.

Safari Plains is an absolute TREAT!! The rooms are exquisite, the staff are all friendly and helpful, lodge is beautiful, animals literalyl at your doorstep, this resort is as close to perfect as I can image! We requested an alternate time for dinner as our daughter is young and the first night was challenging with a 19h00 dinner start time - they accommodated us with no fuss whatsoever.

Location is great. Tent was in a good condition and luxurious. Game drives were great - saw big four and some animals we have never seen before. Hot water bottles and blankets were a lovely touch to each game drive. The staff were very accommodating, and Willard, bar man Kenny and ranger Musa were the standouts. Great to see a safari lodge that is loadshedding proof.

The home is amazingly well equipped and comfortable. Unlike many lodges that feel like a hotel we really felt like we were in a home. The views are amazing and the information received from the hosts on what to do, where to go made our stay very enjoyable.
