Breakfast was delicious - I had the french toast.
The avo on the pizza was ice cold though - as if it was frozen.
Beautiful setting.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
David is an excellent host, friendly and very attentive to his guests. The choice of breakfast was impressive and David was more than happy to prepare anything on the spot. The room was comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated in an African safari style.
Very nice and quit location. We loved the combination of farm style location with the requirements of a travellers lodge. The breakfast brought in a basket to the lodges was fabulous!! Fruit, yoghurt, great self baked bread etc. all presented is a way with an eye for details.
