Banhoek Lodge is situated along the scenic Helshoogte Pass, which offers an array of wine farms. The lodge boasts views of the vineyards and mountains.

This place is incredible probably the best place I have personally ever stayed. The room was magnificent ,extremely hard to leave it. It's so.relaxing in the lodge but the rooms just make you relax. Complimentary popcorn and flapjacks were a lovely touch to bring even more class to an already classy establishment. Bed was amazing so comfy and soft. The views from room and bathroom with the big bath breathtaking The staff couldn't do enough for me and I had a ball. Breakfast was incredible also. I recommend this place 12 out of 10 it was that good. I would have loved to have stayed longer and I have already told a number of people about this place. It's a must if your looking for a place to stay

The views are amazing. I loved that there is a washing machine and tumble dryer for longer stays it was useful. The security at the estate is top notch which makes you feel safe at all times. Coleen was very helpful and made sure we enjoyed our stay.

Featuring a garden with sun terrace, Aaldering Vineyards & Wines offers wine tasting and a quiet countryside accommodation. With free WiFi, the property is 8 km from the centre of Stellenbosch.

Absolutely perfect for a weekend away from Cape Town! The owner, Jacqueline, was present and very friendly and helpful. Suite was spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Beautiful views and a huge pool - great for anyone who wants to do laps. Breakfast was also excellent and plentiful - lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, large selection of breads, eggs & bacon, fresh orange juice and coffee. The complimentary wines - 3 bottles (2 white and 1 red) - were also very enjoyable, particularly sitting out on the patio watching the sun set over the beautiful valley. Great proximity to Stellenbosch and all its amenities. Staff were lovely, security good and visible.

Definitely will stay again and longer. Thank you, Jolanda and team, for being outstanding hosts. A beautiful lodge on the estate. An extensive, good breakfast and warm hosts. We also took the 4 Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs to our hearts

The only thing that was nice was the fishing and swimming in the river. The breakfast was very nice also. Other than this the rest of the stay was disappointing and this place should not be on booking.com. The photo's on booking.com are very old and staff and friends of staff were loitering around the lodge and in the restaurant areas. Some of the children were sleeping on the couches in the reception.

The perfect start to our time in South Africa. We had a super welcome when we arrived, we ate in the restaurant, wagyu open sandwich and a wagyu burger, delicious. We also had the 300g steak,.on another occasion, amazing. The staff were all friendly and happy to help in all matters when asked. The secluded lodge is away from it all, I'd recommend a hire car, although definitely an Uber to get to and from the Franschhoek Wine Tram, which is a great day out.

Fabulous lodge, beautiful bungalow style rooms in a gorgeous garden that the owners have clearly worked hard on to attract wildlife and birds etc. Location easy to find just outside Paarl. Jolande the owner was so helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble!!
