United KingdomThe battlefield tours are awesome and the ladies serving drinks and dinner are so much fun ! Breakfast was filling, lunch tasty and afternoon tea scrumptious ! There are several enjoyable walks around the estate which will take you past Zebra, Giraffe and Impala

The host family and staff are very kind and approachable and take attention to detail. I would definitely recommend Fugitives Drift Lodge. Our highlight was talking with the family, the staff and the other guests, not just on the tours but also during the hosted lunches and dinners. We learned a lot from them on a variety of topics far wider than the military history for which they are famous.
