Everything .. such a pity it was only 1 night and we had to leave early .. a longer stay would be so awesome

Saw lots of the Big 5 close up. Would definitely the quad bike safari. That was amazing! Pool looks great but is very cold and we were advised by Booking.com that check in time was 2pm but discovered that it was actually 12pm for overnight stays.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
We stayed in one of the deluxe lodges, which was unique and well away from the main body of guests – great views of the stars. We did the general evening game drive, but opted for a private drive the next morning which was so much better and we saw all the animals we wanted to see.. Good facilities, including a swim-up bar and a first-floor lounge.
Lovely stay with great dinner and breakfast options.
A fantastic quiet resort type safari lodge, which has self catering facilities as well as game drives close by.
Breakfast was simple and delicious.
The authenticity of the property it looked like a game lodge should look like. Lovely rooms and friendly staff.
Marvelous help from Daniela returning a forgotten iPad.
Great for first time safari. Convenient to Capetown. Nice set up. You will likely see all the animals in one 3 hour drive. Check in was great. Staff friendly. Rooms in the luxury lodge (large block type building) were clean and some have great views of pool and surrounding mountains.
We stayed in the duplex lodge with full board and it was great! The room was excellent for a family of 5, buffet food was great and staff were super friendly. Nigel our safari guide was very well knowledgeable. One of my daughters got injured playing putt-putt golf but Helen from the Spa team was very very helpful in giving first aid and one of the managers (I forgot his name) but he was kind enough to give my daughter a small zebra plush toy as a souvenir.
- I really liked the twice daily safaris - great selection of animals. I believe we saw all animals, apart from the leopard. Really beautiful!
- Very friendly rangers
- Great pool, nice spa, beautiful views
- Beautiful lodge overlooking a lake with a hippo and the other animals behind it
- Restaurant staff were super friendly and prepared daily meals for our baby
