Highly recommend Rocky Mountain Escape! I was a bit hesitate to choose Rocky Mountain Escape since my original goal was only to stay in Jasper. But after I did it, it's totally worthy with the long drive! The location is just next to rocky lake provincial park, it took us 1-2 hours from Jasper to the cabin and the road was off-road but we did it without 4x4. Julia was very nice to explain the situation and recommend us 4x4 actually. While we stayed there, we learnt how to cook with griddle and we took the trail to enjoy the nature. We also drove to Rocky lake provincial park to see the scenery and bump into over 15 Elks! Gary was very nice to show us how to use wood-burning stove, and it was really a cool experience for us! And also Gary recommended us few trails to see the nice view of the mother nature. This was the best cabin getaway experience I could ever have! Thank you Julia and Gary for such lovely cabin!

We got a wonderful room with a nice view to ser one of the beautiful mountains. It was very clean and comfortable. After a couples of hours after we had checked out I received a mail that I forgotten a pair of pants and a shirt in wardrobe. Catherine arranged everything with USP so I will get my cloths in Vancouver, before I am leaving for Europe. Catherine, once again, thank for all your help!

Located 53 km south from the town of Jasper on the Icefields Parkway (HWY 93), this lodge features a restaurant and gift shop. A fridge is offered in each room at Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain Lodge. The best stay in our Canada trip, and it was all thanks to the amazing staff. The room is great, the restaurant is delicious, but the staff are the nicest people we met here in Canada. Everyone were super helpful and truly interested and dedicated towards making our trip to Jasper unique. Martin, the restaurant's manager, was simply amazing. We asked him about wildlife spotting areas and he took out a map and drew the best wildlife spotting areas on it. We also asked him about the northern lights, and he told us the best night to go see them and where, gave us his tripod and we got to see it! This place is amazing, stay here to meet awesome people!
