It was a bit cold when we were there, so we had the chance of lighting a fire in the fireplace of the room (wood and stuffs to light a fire is provided in the room), which made the evenings extra special. The staff is very welcoming, and the restaurant very good. All in all, a delightful stay!

We needed more than one night to truly enjoy everything the place has to offer.

Bare 48 kilometer fra Catarata Tesoro Escondido ligger Chilamate Rainforest Eco Retreat, som har restaurant, en hage, en fellesstue og en terrasse. The food was uniformly delicious. The owners and staff couldn’t have been more helpful organizing tours. The cabins were rustic but charming and the landscape was breathtaking.

Mountain Lodge CheTica ligger i San Jerónimo i Heredia, med La Sabana metropolitiske park bare 19 kilometer unna. Beautiful setting, great staff, wonderful food and Ruben is amazing!

I Sarapiquí ligger Gran Gavilán del Sarapiquí Lodge, som har en restaurant, bar, en hage, romservice, helårsåpent utendørsbasseng og terrasse. Boenhetene har utsikt over hagen. Quiet, authentic hotel on the edge of town. Lots of space for short hikes and looking for birds and other animals. Owners and staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Dinner on site after a busy day was a retreat and enjoyed immensely.

I Sarapiquí ligger Selva Verde Lodge, som har en restaurant, bar, en hage, en turskranke, helårsåpent utendørsbasseng og terrasse. Boenhetene har utsikt over hagen. Everything, this was a treat and I could have stayed there for ever. The breakfast included was so good with many choices. This is great for person that want to be in nature.

This lodge is set in the Tirimbina Nature Reserve and 2 km from De la Virgen Park. It features free Wi-Fi, an extensive garden and a furnished terrace. Perfectly located, with a private rain forest. As a guest you have unlimited access to it. There are plenty of birds and animals around. Very comfortable room with a small terrace and a large bathroom. Staff very helpful. It is worth going on a night tour - we saw a lot of animals! Among the surrounding hotels, this one is probably the best!
