Set in Kirknewton, just 16 km from Murrayfield Stadium, Highfield Cottage offers accommodation with free bikes, a garden and free WiFi. Very close to the train station. The cottage is a piece of history. The gardens are so lovely. Make me go back in time. Definitely a place worth to spend the nights. Very good communication with the host, friendly and happy to help. I recommend, you will not regret it.

The pod was absolutely perfect for us as a family- so well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with absolutely stunning views in the middle of nature. We really loved having a tour of the farm and got to spend great time with the hosts. Enjoyed some produce from the farm too :) We can't recommend this beautiful place highly enough and look forward to returning. Jiten Pooja Yash.

Great communication from our host. Lovely treats left for us which were very unexpected but welcome after a long journey. The lodge is beautiful, quiet, comfortable and with everything we needed for our stay. Would not hesitate to stay again. Highly recommended.

Orchard House Lodges by Ecohuman has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Haddington, 16 km from Muirfield. This is a great location just outside of Haddington and a short drive of around 20 minutes to Edinburgh. Haddington is a beautiful town with great eating places such as Diggory's and the Waterside Bistro. St. Mary's Church was completed in 1462 and is a must see. There were four lodges at this quiet, pastoral location. There is ample parking available. The lodge we stayed in was comfortable for two persons and was equipped with a kitchenette and a good bathroom facility. There are also four Highland Cows in the pastures nearby. You cannot touch them or feed them but having them nearby was a nice experience. Check in was easy and accomplished remotely. We never had contact with the host in person and that was fine.
