The cottage is a piece of history. The gardens are so lovely. Make me go back in time. Definitely a place worth to spend the nights. Very good communication with the host, friendly and happy to help. The pod was absolutely perfect for us as a family- so well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with absolutely stunning views in the middle of nature. We really loved having a tour of the farm and got to spend great time with the hosts. This is a great location just outside of Haddington and a short drive of around 20 minutes to Edinburgh. Haddington is a beautiful town with great eating places such as Diggory's and the Waterside Bistro. St. Mary's Church was completed in 1462 and is a must see. There were four lodges at this quiet, pastoral location. There is ample parking available. The lodge we stayed in was comfortable for two persons and was equipped with a kitchenette and a good bathroom facility. There are also four Highland Cows in the pastures nearby. You cannot touch them or feed them but having them nearby was a nice experience. Check in was easy and accomplished remotely. We never had contact with the host in person and that was fine.
