The best stay I’ve had in years! 🏝️This is truly a relaxing Island experience and an opportunity for you to unwind in a secluded location. Thank you Sook Peng and Fred for helping my stay feels like home! They have arranged the transfer quite seamlessly, I got picked up from the hotel early morning to the pier and then to the island. The view is truly amazing as the lodge is right in front of the sea. They have everything you need for this Island: kayaks, snorkel masks, beach mats and coconuts (and beer which is a rare commodity in the island)! Thank you Sook Peng for the wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s wonderful to enjoy a hearty home-cooked meal by the sea. I also get to taste some delicious farm-to-table vegetables they’ve grown from their aquaponics farm ♥️ I’ve enjoyed my time on the island, there’s a dive centre 5-min walk from the lodge and it’s convenient if you’d like to join a dive or two. My room is right in front of the sea with a little garden, sun lounge area and a private entrance to the beach. You’re surrounded by nature and animals, I’ve seen cats, cows, tree frogs, big green turtles and more. Just be prepared for mosquitos at night, you can spray the room before you leave for dinner, I’ve also bought a “Deep Woods” repellent and some repellent wristbands which comes in quite handy. There’s no aircon in the room but the island breeze does help, the room is well-ventilated and there’s a fan and cooling machine in the room. Truly an amazing getaway, I must come back again!

This is not just a ‘business’, it is a passion! Jason and Gert are sharing a piece of the rainforest to help travelers experience wildlife, insects and plants in their natural habitat. Jason and Gert have created a safe and relaxing environment for all guests to experience true nature. The cabin has wood walls and floors - simple design and furnishings, and so comfortable. There are 2 chairs on the balcony, outside of each room, to enjoy the local flora and fauna. The daily schedule is designed for 2 nights, but we wanted some additional quiet time in the jungle so stayed for 4 nights. Jason made sure that we received different meals for lunch and dinner - he really works to make all meals special! The banana pancakes with homemade caramel sauce is phenomenal! The dining room (with ceiling fans) is also a place that you can hang out - have a coffee, read, play cards, visit and/or observe your surroundings. There is always a pitcher of cold and refreshing water waiting for you. There is a terrace off the dining room (no fans) with benches and small tables - great to look out over the landscape. We went on an amazing evening boat cruise every evening (included in the package). The optional sunrise river cruise starts at 5:30 am - beautiful and quiet (additional small fee). During our cruises, our guide/captain Rodel helped us find Pygmy elephants, crocodiles, hornbills, kingfishers, Silver Leaf monkeys, Proboscis monkeys and macaque monkeys. We absolutely loved our time on the Kinabatangan River! Jason, Gert and staff are so calm, friendly and informative. A once in a lifetime experience/place to enjoy nature and learn about/observe amazing Borneo animals in the wild!

Bayu Senja Lodge er staðsett í Kundasang á Sabah-svæðinu og býður upp á gistingu með ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Extremely helpful staff members - did our washing for us with a rapid turn around, moved our suitcases to our new room on the second night, helped us with transport to the national park etc. Clean rooms with efficient fan and comfortable beds. Free bottled water provided, with beautiful views of sunset from kitchen and terrace. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Borneo Jungle Adventure er staðsett í Kinabatangan og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi, verönd og grillaðstöðu. Það er með fullbúið sérbaðherbergi með sturtu og ókeypis snyrtivörum. The accommodation was clean, the bed comfortable, the food delicious and the whole team that looked after us were nice, helpful and attentive. The internet is only in the dining room, but that didn't bother us. The hot water is running, and you can even see wild animals right from the accommodation. And thanks to Mika our guide and Ten Ten, the boat captain, we saw all of Borneo's big five 👍

Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort er staðsett í Sepilok á Sabah-svæðinu og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis einkabílastæði ásamt aðgangi að heitum potti. The staff went above and beyond. They were so kind to me as a solo traveller. The location itself was also spectacular, beautiful place to stay.

Nulu View Cabin er staðsett í Kundasang á Sabah-svæðinu og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis einkabílastæði. Not only was the view from the room amazing, but the lady checking us in and out was so kind and helpful.

Maglami-lami Water House í Semporna býður upp á gistingu, veitingastað og sjávarútsýni. Það er með fullbúið sérbaðherbergi með skolskál og inniskóm. Smáhýsið er með sólarverönd. All the food are really good and delicious

Tampat do Aman er umkringt gróskumiklum gróðri og býður upp á gistirými í Kg Tiga Papan, 30 km frá Kudat. Gististaðurinn býður upp á akstursþjónustu gegn aukagjaldi (sjá smáa letrið). Had a great two nights stay in this nature paradise. Howard, the owner, has a deep knowledge of the region and its culture. He will make your stay super easy going and can drop you around if you have no vehicle. Accommodation is very basic and that's exactly why you're going there! If you are scared of little insects, you shouldn't be in Borneo at the first place so move on! Thanks for this stay, loved the refreshing shower after a hot day! Sabah Tea Resort er fullkominn staður fyrir þá sem leita að stuttri dvöl en það er staðsett í hinu friðsæla Ranau-hverfi og er með útsýni yfir falleg fjöll. The place was really huge and suitable for big family gathering.The house and surrounding was clean.The mount Kinabalu view was amazing,it is a private area and u will enjoy the privacy.Definitely will come back.
