Situato a Bilit, a 2 ore di auto dalla splendida Sandakan, il Last Frontier Boutique Resort sorge in cima a una collina di 100 m affacciata sulla Riserva Forestale Kinabatangan. This is not just a ‘business’, it is a passion! Jason and Gert are sharing a piece of the rainforest to help travelers experience wildlife, insects and plants in their natural habitat. Jason and Gert have created a safe and relaxing environment for all guests to experience true nature. The cabin has wood walls and floors - simple design and furnishings, and so comfortable. There are 2 chairs on the balcony, outside of each room, to enjoy the local flora and fauna. The daily schedule is designed for 2 nights, but we wanted some additional quiet time in the jungle so stayed for 4 nights. Jason made sure that we received different meals for lunch and dinner - he really works to make all meals special! The banana pancakes with homemade caramel sauce is phenomenal! The dining room (with ceiling fans) is also a place that you can hang out - have a coffee, read, play cards, visit and/or observe your surroundings. There is always a pitcher of cold and refreshing water waiting for you. There is a terrace off the dining room (no fans) with benches and small tables - great to look out over the landscape. We went on an amazing evening boat cruise every evening (included in the package). The optional sunrise river cruise starts at 5:30 am - beautiful and quiet (additional small fee). During our cruises, our guide/captain Rodel helped us find Pygmy elephants, crocodiles, hornbills, kingfishers, Silver Leaf monkeys, Proboscis monkeys and macaque monkeys. We absolutely loved our time on the Kinabatangan River! Jason, Gert and staff are so calm, friendly and informative. A once in a lifetime experience/place to enjoy nature and learn about/observe amazing Borneo animals in the wild!

Bayu Senja Lodge presenta la vista sul giardino, il WiFi gratuito e un parcheggio privato gratuito a Kampong Kundassan. Amazing view and location, rooms were clean, facilities were great. Overall very very good

Borneo Jungle Adventure si trova a Kinabatangan e propone WiFi gratuito, terrazza e attrezzature da barbecue. Troverete un bagno privato completo di doccia e set di cortesia. The staff was excellent Mica and Ten did an excellent job spotting the wildlife and were very knowledgeable answering any questions about the animals in the area. Fantastic experience

Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort si trova a Sepilok, nella regione Sabah e mette a disposizione una vasca idromassaggio e il parcheggio privato gratuito. Really amazing place to stay near all of the sights in Sepilok. I chose to walk everywhere and it seemed to be in a pretty central location. Food was tasty and staff was friendly.

Nulu View Cabin si trova a Kampong Kundassan. C’è un parcheggio privato disponibile sul posto. This place had a beautiful view of Mt. Kinabatangan and the owners were really nice.

Maglami-lami Water House si trova a Semporna e propone la vista sul mare e un ristorante. Troverete un bagno privato completo di bidet e pantofole. Questo lodge offre una terrazza solarium. We had an amazing stay at maglami, the location and facilities are just amazing and not turistic at all. The staff is really kind and helpful, the food is good and the vibe with the other is simply magic!

Tampat do Aman si trova a Kudat e prevede WiFi gratuito, giardino, terrazza e ristorante. C’è un parcheggio privato disponibile sul posto. La struttura è bellissima e immersa nel verde, l’idea e il lavoro di Howard sono da valorizzare e apprezzare. L’unica cosa direi di fare un po’ più attenzione alla pulizia del wc, anche se compostabile. Bellissimo se si vuole passare una notte “nella giungla” ma con qualche comfort.

Sabah Tea Resort offre la vista sulla montagna a Ranau e dispone di WiFi gratuito. In alcuni alloggi è presente un bagno in comune con doccia, set di cortesia, asciugacapelli e pantofole. The place was really huge and suitable for big family gathering.The house and surrounding was clean.The mount Kinabalu view was amazing,it is a private area and u will enjoy the privacy.Definitely will come back.
